Join our dedicated Children's Social Work Assessment & Safeguarding Team in North East Lincolnshire, where your expertise can make a profound difference in the lives of children and families. We are seeking a passionate and qualified Social Worker who is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. In this role, you will conduct assessments, develop care plans, and work collaboratively with families and multidisciplinary teams to ensure the best outcomes for children.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families in need of support. Developing and implementing effective intervention plans in line with statutory guidance. Collaborating with partner agencies to ensure a coordinated approach to safeguarding. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation. Providing support and guidance to families, empowering them to achieve positive change.The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:
A relevant Social Work qualification (Degree in Social Work or equivalent). Registered with Social Work England. Proven experience in children's social work, particularly in assessment and safeguarding. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with vulnerable families.
