Join our dedicated Children’s Social Work - Care Planning and Support Team in North Yorkshire, where your expertise can make a significant difference in the lives of children and families. We are seeking a passionate and qualified Social Worker to support our mission of ensuring the safety and well-being of children in our community. In this role, you will work collaboratively with families, agencies, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality care planning and support services.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks. Developing, implementing, and reviewing care plans in partnership with children, families, and other professionals. Providing direct support and guidance to children and families, ensuring their voices are heard and respected. Working closely with multi-agency teams to coordinate services and interventions. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with statutory requirements.The ideal candidate will possess essential qualifications and skills, including:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., CQSW, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Proven experience in children’s social work, particularly in care planning and support. Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make sound judgments.
