Join our dedicated Children’s Social Work (C&F Team) in West Berkshire, where you will play a vital role in improving the lives of children and families. As a Qualified Social Worker, you will engage with families to assess their needs and implement effective intervention strategies. Your expertise will contribute to safeguarding children and promoting their welfare, ensuring they have the support necessary to thrive in a nurturing environment.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks. Developing and implementing tailored care plans in collaboration with families and other professionals. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation. Participating in multi-agency meetings to ensure cohesive support for children and families. Providing advice and support to families to empower them and promote positive change.To be successful in this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Proven experience in children’s social work, particularly in safeguarding and child protection. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with children and families.
