Join our dedicated team as a Qualified Social Worker within the Children's Social Work – Children in Care (CIC) Team in Redcar and Cleveland. We are seeking passionate and experienced professionals who are committed to improving the lives of children and young people in care. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing the needs of vulnerable children, developing care plans, and working closely with families, foster carers, and other professionals to ensure the best outcomes for those in our care.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks. Developing and implementing individual care plans in collaboration with children, their families, and multi-agency partners. Maintaining accurate and timely records in accordance with legal and regulatory requirements. Providing direct support and guidance to children and families, facilitating access to necessary resources and services. Participating in regular supervision and team meetings to discuss cases and share best practices.To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Significant experience working within children's social care, particularly with children in care. Strong assessment, analytical, and communication skills.
