Children's SW - CIC Team - Redcar and Cleveland
Join our dedicated team as a Qualified Social Worker within the Children's Social Work – Children in Care (CIC) Team in Redcar and Cleveland. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks.
- Developing and implementing individual care plans in collaboration with children, their families, and multi-agency partners.
- Maintaining accurate and timely records in accordance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Providing direct support and guidance to children and families, facilitating access to necessary resources and services.
- Participating in regular supervision and team meetings to discuss cases and share best practices.
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills:
- A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
- Registration with Social Work England.
- Significant experience working within children's social care, particularly with children in care.
- Strong assessment, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team and manage a varied caseload effectively.
