We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Qualified Social Worker to join our Children’s Social Work - Children in Need (CIN) Team in Swindon. In this rewarding role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the safety, well-being, and development of vulnerable children and families. You will work collaboratively with multi-agency partners, providing high-quality assessments and interventions to support children in need, while promoting positive outcomes and safeguarding their welfare.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks. Developing and implementing effective care plans in collaboration with the family and other professionals. Monitoring and reviewing cases to ensure the safety and progress of children. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in accordance with local and national standards. Providing support and guidance to families, empowering them to make positive changes.To be considered for this position, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Experience working within children's services, particularly in a CIN or safeguarding context. Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make informed decisions.
