Children's SW - CIN Team - Swindon
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Qualified Social Worker to join our Children’s Social Work - Children in Need (CIN) Team in Swindon. In this rewarding role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the safety, well-being, and development of vulnerable children and families. You will work collaboratively with multi-agency partners, providing high-quality assessments and interventions to support children in need, while promoting positive outcomes and safeguarding their welfare.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks.
- Developing and implementing effective care plans in collaboration with the family and other professionals.
- Monitoring and reviewing cases to ensure the safety and progress of children.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in accordance with local and national standards.
- Providing support and guidance to families, empowering them to make positive changes.
To be considered for this position, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:
- A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
- Registration with Social Work England.
- Experience working within children's services, particularly in a CIN or safeguarding context.
- Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make informed decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to working in partnership with families and professionals.
