Join our dynamic Children’s Social Work – Children with Disabilities (CWD) Team in Oxfordshire, where you will play a vital role in supporting children and young people with disabilities and their families. We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Qualified Social Worker who is committed to making a positive impact in the lives of vulnerable children. In this role, you will assess needs, develop care plans, and provide ongoing support to ensure the safety and well-being of children within the community.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks. Developing and implementing effective care plans in collaboration with families and other professionals. Providing direct support and intervention to children with disabilities and their families. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation. Collaborating with multi-agency teams to coordinate services and resources for families. Participating in child protection conferences and court proceedings as necessary.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Current registration with Social Work England. Experience working with children and families, particularly those with disabilities. Strong assessment and analytical skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with children and families. Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and best practices in social work.
