Are you a passionate and dedicated Qualified Social Worker looking to make a positive impact in the lives of children and families? Enfield's Family Safeguarding Team is seeking an experienced Children's Social Worker to join our dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work within a supportive environment, where you can contribute to safeguarding children and promoting their welfare.
As a Children's Social Worker in our Family Safeguarding Team, you will be responsible for:
Conducting assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks. Developing and implementing effective intervention plans to safeguard children. Working collaboratively with families, colleagues, and external agencies to ensure the best outcomes for children. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in accordance with local policies and procedures. Participating in regular supervision and team meetings to enhance practice and share knowledge.To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registered with Social Work England. Experience in children's social work, particularly in safeguarding and child protection. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children and families.
