Children's SW - Family Safeguarding Team - Enfield
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Qualified Social Worker to join our Children's Social Work - Family Safeguarding Team in Enfield. This role is pivotal in ensuring the safety and well-being of children and families within our community. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing care plans, and implementing interventions to support families in crisis. You will work collaboratively with multi-agency teams to promote the welfare of children and safeguard their interests.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks.
- Developing and reviewing care plans in partnership with families and other professionals.
- Implementing evidence-based interventions to support families and enhance child safety.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in accordance with statutory requirements.
- Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to the development of safeguarding strategies.
To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:
- A recognized Social Work qualification (Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
- Registration with Social Work England.
- Experience working with children and families in a safeguarding context.
- Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make informed decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to working collaboratively.
