Are you a passionate and dedicated social worker looking to make a real difference in the lives of children and young people? Join our Children’s SW - LAC Team in Bedford, where you will play a vital role in supporting looked-after children and ensuring their well-being and development. As a Qualified Social Worker, you will work collaboratively with families, children, and various stakeholders to create positive outcomes for those in our care.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting thorough assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks. Developing and implementing care plans in collaboration with children, families, and other professionals. Providing direct support and guidance to children and their families, ensuring their voices are heard. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and reports, adhering to relevant policies and procedures. Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to the development of safeguarding practices.To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (BA/MA in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Experience in working with children and families, particularly in a looked-after children setting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
