Join our dedicated Children's Social Work Safeguarding Team in Lincolnshire, where your expertise will make a real difference in the lives of vulnerable children and families. We are seeking a passionate and qualified Social Worker to provide high-quality support, safeguarding, and intervention services to children in need. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring the safety and well-being of children while promoting their development and welfare.
As a Children's Social Worker within our Safeguarding Team, your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks. Developing and implementing child protection plans in collaboration with multi-agency partners. Providing direct support and guidance to children and their families, ensuring their voices are heard. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in accordance with statutory requirements and local policies. Participating in court proceedings and providing expert testimony as required.To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work). Registration with Social Work England. Demonstrable experience in children's safeguarding and child protection. Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make sound judgments.
