Are you a passionate and dedicated Qualified Social Worker looking to make a meaningful impact in the lives of unaccompanied asylum-seeking children (UASC)? Join our dynamic Children's Social Work team in Liverpool, where you will play a crucial role in safeguarding and promoting the welfare of vulnerable young individuals. We are seeking an experienced social worker to provide high-quality support, guidance, and advocacy for UASC, ensuring their needs are met and their voices are heard.

As a member of our UASC team, your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify the needs of UASC and develop tailored support plans. Building trusting relationships with children and their families to facilitate effective communication and engagement. Collaborating with external agencies, including schools, health services, and legal representatives, to ensure holistic care. Providing ongoing support and supervision to children, helping them navigate their journey in the UK. Maintaining accurate case records and documentation in compliance with local and national standards.

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (e.g., CQSW, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England and a strong understanding of relevant legislation. Experience working with children and young people, particularly in the context of asylum and immigration. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse populations. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a caseload effectively.
