Join our dedicated Children's Social Work (SW) - Unaccompanied Asylum-Seeking Children (UASC) Team in Worcestershire, where your expertise will make a meaningful difference in the lives of vulnerable children. We are seeking a passionate and qualified Social Worker to support unaccompanied minors as they navigate their new environment, ensuring their safety, well-being, and integration into the community.
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for:
Conducting thorough assessments of the needs and risks faced by UASC. Developing and implementing care plans in collaboration with children, families, and other professionals. Providing ongoing support and advocacy for children in care, ensuring their voices are heard. Maintaining accurate records and documentation in accordance with legal and organizational standards. Participating in multi-agency meetings to coordinate services and resources for children.To be successful in this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized Social Work qualification (Degree or equivalent). Current registration with Social Work England. Experience working with children and young people, particularly in the context of UASC. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
