As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for:

  • Conducting thorough assessments of the needs and risks faced by UASC.
  • Developing and implementing care plans in collaboration with children, families, and other professionals.
  • Providing ongoing support and advocacy for children in care, ensuring their voices are heard.
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation in accordance with legal and organizational standards.
  • Participating in multi-agency meetings to coordinate services and resources for children.

To be successful in this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized Social Work qualification (Degree or equivalent).
  • Current registration with Social Work England.
  • Experience working with children and young people, particularly in the context of UASC.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and best practices in child protection and safeguarding.
