We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our Children's TM - Corporate Parenting Team in Devon as a Qualified Social Worker. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting and advocating for children in care, ensuring their well-being and best interests are at the forefront of all decision-making processes.
Key responsibilities and duties:
Undertake assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks Develop and implement care plans that promote the welfare and safety of children Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to provide holistic support Participate in case conferences, court proceedings, and multidisciplinary meetings Provide direct support and guidance to children and young people in careEssential qualifications and skills:
Qualified Social Worker with relevant registration and experience in child protection Demonstrated knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures in child welfare Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with children, families, and professionals Ability to assess complex situations and make informed decisions in the best interests of children Resilience, empathy, and a commitment to promoting positive outcomes for vulnerable childrenAdditional requirements and benefits:
