We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Qualified Social Worker to join our Children's TM - MACH Team in Middlesbrough. As part of this dynamic team, you will play a crucial role in supporting and safeguarding children and young people in need.
Key responsibilities and duties:
Undertake assessments and develop care plans for children and families in line with relevant legislation and best practice. Provide direct support and intervention to children and families to address safeguarding concerns and promote positive outcomes. Work collaboratively with partner agencies and professionals to ensure coordinated and effective service delivery. Participate in case conferences, court proceedings, and multi-agency meetings to advocate for the best interests of children. Contribute to the ongoing improvement of services through reflective practice, supervision, and training.Essential qualifications and skills:
Qualified Social Worker with a valid HCPC registration. Demonstrated experience in working with children and families in a social work setting. Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures related to child protection and welfare. Excellent communication, assessment, and decision-making skills. Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage complex cases with sensitivity and professionalism.Additional requirements and benefits:
