We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Qualified Social Worker to join our Children's TM - MACH Team in Middlesbrough. As part of this dynamic team, you will play a crucial role in supporting and safeguarding children and young people in need.

Key responsibilities and duties:

  • Undertake assessments and develop care plans for children and families in line with relevant legislation and best practice.
  • Provide direct support and intervention to children and families to address safeguarding concerns and promote positive outcomes.
  • Work collaboratively with partner agencies and professionals to ensure coordinated and effective service delivery.
  • Participate in case conferences, court proceedings, and multi-agency meetings to advocate for the best interests of children.
  • Contribute to the ongoing improvement of services through reflective practice, supervision, and training.

Essential qualifications and skills:

  • Qualified Social Worker with a valid HCPC registration.
  • Demonstrated experience in working with children and families in a social work setting.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures related to child protection and welfare.
  • Excellent communication, assessment, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage complex cases with sensitivity and professionalism.
