We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Qualified Social Worker to join our team in Coventry in the role of Looked After Children (LAC) and Adoption Practitioner. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality support and intervention to children and families involved in the care system.

Key responsibilities and duties include:

Conducting assessments and creating care plans for children in care or those being considered for adoption Working collaboratively with external agencies, including schools, healthcare providers, and the court system Providing direct support and intervention to children and families to promote positive outcomes Participating in case conferences, court hearings, and other relevant meetings Ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with statutory regulations and best practice guidelines

The successful candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

Qualified Social Worker with current registration with Social Work England Demonstrated experience working with Looked After Children and/or in the field of adoption Strong assessment and analytical skills with the ability to make evidence-based decisions Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with children, families, and professionals Ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Additional requirements for this role include a valid driver's license and access to a vehicle for travel to various locations within Coventry and surrounding areas.
