Leeds City is seeking a dedicated and experienced CP/CIN Social Worker to join our dynamic team. In this crucial role, you will work closely with children and families to ensure their safety and well-being. Your expertise will be vital in conducting assessments, developing care plans, and implementing interventions that support children in need and those subject to child protection plans.

Key responsibilities include:

Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify the needs of children and families. Developing and reviewing child protection and child in need plans in collaboration with families and other professionals. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation in compliance with local authority policies. Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to case conferences. Providing support and guidance to families, promoting positive outcomes for children.

To be successful in this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Current registration with Social Work England. Experience working within child protection and children in need frameworks. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children and families. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a complex caseload.
