Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify the needs of children and families.

  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation in compliance with local authority policies.
  • Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to case conferences.
  • Providing support and guidance to families, promoting positive outcomes for children.

To be successful in this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
  • Current registration with Social Work England.
  • Experience working within child protection and children in need frameworks.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children and families.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a complex caseload.
