We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Advanced Practitioner to join our Help & Protection team in Coventry. In this role, you will play a crucial part in safeguarding vulnerable children and families, ensuring their well-being and promoting positive outcomes. You will work collaboratively with social workers, partner agencies, and families to provide high-quality interventions and support. Key responsibilities include:
Providing expert guidance and supervision to social workers in the Help & Protection team. Conducting complex assessments and developing tailored support plans for children and families. Leading case reviews and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and best practices. Building strong relationships with families, community organizations, and other stakeholders. Participating in training and development initiatives to enhance the skills of team members.The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., CQSW, DipSW, or equivalent). Current registration with Social Work England. A minimum of 3 years’ experience in child protection and safeguarding. Strong analytical and assessment skills, with the ability to make sound judgments.
