Key responsibilities include:
Chairing statutory reviews and ensuring that they are conducted in accordance with legislation and local policies. Monitoring the effectiveness of care plans and making recommendations for improvements. Engaging with children, young people, and their families to gather their views and experiences. Working collaboratively with social workers, education providers, and health professionals to promote the wellbeing of children in care. Providing reports and feedback to relevant stakeholders to ensure transparency and accountability.The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:
A relevant social work qualification (e.g., CQSW, CSS, or equivalent). Registered with Social Work England. Extensive experience in child protection and working with children in care.
