We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Qualified Social Worker to join our Children's Disability Service team in Blackburn. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality support and intervention to children and families with disabilities, ensuring their well-being and promoting their independence.
Key responsibilities and duties:
Assessing the needs of children with disabilities and developing care plans Working collaboratively with families, carers, and other professionals to provide holistic support Conducting risk assessments and safeguarding vulnerable children Advocating for the rights and best interests of children with disabilities Participating in case conferences, reviews, and multidisciplinary meetingsEssential qualifications and skills:

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Qualified Social Worker to join our Duty, Assessment & CIN Team in Blackburn. As a member of this team, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and families in need.
Key responsibilities and duties:
Conducting timely and thorough assessments of children and families to determine their needs and risks. Developing and implementing care plans in collaboration with service users, colleagues, and partner agencies. Participating in duty rota systems to respond to urgent safeguarding concerns and provide appropriate interventions. Working closely with children in need, children subject to child protection plans, and those in care to ensure their well-being and safety.
