We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Qualified Social Worker to join our Children’s Social Work (CSW) Team in Blackburn. Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks.

  • Carrying out statutory duties in accordance with legislation and local policies.
  • Providing support and guidance to families to promote positive outcomes for children.
  • Maintaining accurate and timely case records and documentation.

Essential qualifications and skills for this role include:

  • A recognized Social Work qualification (Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
  • Registration with Social Work England.
  • Significant experience in children's social work, including case management.
  • Strong assessment and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and manage a varied caseload.
