Are you a dedicated and compassionate Qualified Social Worker looking to make a difference in the lives of vulnerable individuals and families? Wiltshire Council is seeking a motivated QSW for our Support & Safeguarding team. In this pivotal role, you will work collaboratively with colleagues and community partners to provide high-quality support and safeguarding services to those in need, ensuring their welfare and promoting their rights.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting comprehensive assessments of service users' needs and risks. Developing and implementing tailored support plans in partnership with individuals and their families. Ensuring compliance with safeguarding policies and procedures, responding promptly to safeguarding concerns. Maintaining accurate case records and documentation, ensuring confidentiality and adherence to data protection regulations. Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to the development of effective service delivery.

To be successful in this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Proven experience in child protection and safeguarding practices. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse individuals. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a complex caseload effectively.
