Are you a passionate and dedicated Social Worker looking for a rewarding opportunity in the Child in Care Team? We are seeking a qualified Social Worker to join our dynamic team in Dudley, offering a competitive rate of £41 per hour on an umbrella basis. This role is crucial in supporting vulnerable children and their families, ensuring their safety and well-being while promoting positive outcomes.

As a Social Worker in the Child in Care Team, you will have a range of key responsibilities, including:

Conducting assessments and developing care plans for children in care. Working collaboratively with families, children, and other professionals to ensure the best outcomes. Managing a caseload of children and young people, providing ongoing support and intervention. Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to strategies that support the child's development. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in accordance with legal and organizational standards.

The ideal candidate will possess essential qualifications and skills, including:

A recognized Social Work qualification (Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Proven experience working within a Child in Care Team or similar setting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
