Key responsibilities for this role include:
Conducting assessments of family needs and risks to develop tailored support plans. Collaborating with various agencies, including schools, healthcare providers, and local authorities, to coordinate services for families. Providing direct support and intervention to families, fostering positive relationships and encouraging self-sufficiency. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation in compliance with legal and organizational standards. Participating in case conferences and multi-agency meetings to advocate for the best interests of children and families.To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England (or equivalent professional body). Experience working with families in a social work setting, particularly in child protection and family support. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse clients.
