We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Team Manager to lead our CP/Locality Team in Hinckley, Leicestershire. This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in enhancing the lives of children and families within our community. As a Team Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality social work services, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and best practice standards.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Leading and managing a team of qualified social workers, providing supervision, support, and guidance to promote professional development. Ensuring the effective assessment and management of child protection cases, developing and implementing care plans in partnership with families. Collaborating with multi-agency partners to safeguard children and promote their welfare, ensuring a coordinated approach to service delivery. Monitoring performance and outcomes, conducting audits, and implementing improvement plans where necessary. Contributing to the strategic development of services and policies to enhance service delivery and outcomes for children and families.The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Significant post-qualification experience in child protection and safeguarding. Strong leadership and management skills, with a proven track record of leading teams effectively. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with children, families, and professionals.
