We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Team Manager to lead our CP/Locality Team in Hinckley, Leicestershire. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and managing a team of qualified social workers, providing supervision, support, and guidance to promote professional development.
  • Ensuring the effective assessment and management of child protection cases, developing and implementing care plans in partnership with families.
  • Collaborating with multi-agency partners to safeguard children and promote their welfare, ensuring a coordinated approach to service delivery.
  • Monitoring performance and outcomes, conducting audits, and implementing improvement plans where necessary.
  • Contributing to the strategic development of services and policies to enhance service delivery and outcomes for children and families.

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
  • Significant post-qualification experience in child protection and safeguarding.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with a proven track record of leading teams effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with children, families, and professionals.
  • In-depth knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and best practices in social work.
