We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Children's Social Worker to join our Looked After Children (LAC) and Children in Care (CIC) Team in Liverpool. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality support and intervention to children and families in need.
Key responsibilities and duties include:
Undertaking assessments and creating care plans for children in care Participating in case conferences and reviews to ensure the well-being of children Working collaboratively with other professionals and agencies to provide holistic support Advocating for the rights and best interests of children under your care Monitoring and evaluating the progress of children in care and making necessary adjustments to support plansThe ideal candidate will possess:
A recognized Social Work qualification and registration with Social Work England Demonstrated experience working in a similar role, preferably within a LAC/CIC team Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make informed decisions Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with children, families, and colleagues effectively An understanding of relevant legislation and policies related to children in careAdditional requirements for this role include a valid driver's license and access to a vehicle for travel within the community. We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Children's Social Worker to join our Adoption Team in Liverpool. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the well-being and safety of children in need of adoptive placements.
Key responsibilities and duties:
Assessing and managing the needs of children in care, particularly those awaiting adoption. Undertaking direct work with children and families to support the adoption process. Completing detailed assessments and reports to inform decision-making and court proceedings. Working collaboratively with partner agencies and professionals to provide holistic support to children and families. Participating in case conferences, meetings, and reviews to ensure the best outcomes for children.Essential qualifications and skills:
Qualified Social Worker with a valid HCPC registration. Experience working within children's services, ideally within adoption or permanence teams. Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make evidence-based decisions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with children and families.
