We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Qualified Social Worker to join our Shropshire 16+ Children Looked After Team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality support and intervention to young people aged 16 and above who are in the care system.

Key responsibilities and duties:

Conducting assessments and developing care plans for young people in care Providing emotional support and guidance to help young people transition into adulthood Advocating for the needs and rights of the young people you work with Working collaboratively with other professionals and agencies to ensure the best outcomes for the young people Participating in case conferences, court hearings, and reviews as required

Essential qualifications and skills:

Qualified Social Worker with a valid registration with Social Work England Experience working with children and young people in a social work setting Strong assessment and analytical skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage complex cases
