We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Children's Practice Development SSW to join our CIC Team in Slough. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality support and intervention services to children in care, ensuring their safety, well-being, and development.
Key responsibilities and duties include:
Undertaking comprehensive assessments of children and young people's needs Developing and implementing care plans in collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams Providing direct support to children in care, including emotional support and advocacy Monitoring and reviewing the progress of children in care and making necessary adjustments to their care plans Participating in case conferences, court proceedings, and other relevant meetingsEssential qualifications and skills:
Qualified Social Worker with relevant experience in children's services Registered with Social Work England Strong understanding of child protection policies and procedures Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and challenging environmentAdditional requirements:
