Join our Family Safeguarding Team in Weybridge, Surrey, where you will play a vital role in supporting children and their families to thrive. We are seeking an experienced QSW who is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, ensuring that their needs are met and their voices are heard.
In this role, you will be responsible for a diverse range of duties, including:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks. Developing and implementing effective care plans in collaboration with families and other professionals. Providing direct support and intervention to families, ensuring that safeguarding measures are in place. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records, adhering to statutory and regulatory requirements. Participating in multi-agency meetings to ensure a coordinated approach to safeguarding.The ideal candidate will possess essential qualifications and skills, including:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Demonstrable experience in child protection and safeguarding practices. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build effective relationships with families and professionals.
