Wokingham Borough Council is seeking a dedicated and passionate Qualified Social Worker to join our Family Help Team. As part of a dynamic team, you will work collaboratively to support families in overcoming challenges and achieving positive outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:
Conducting assessments to identify the needs of children and families. Developing and implementing tailored support plans in partnership with families. Providing ongoing support and intervention to families, ensuring their voices are heard and respected. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with local policies and procedures. Working closely with other professionals and agencies to coordinate services and resources. Participating in team meetings and contributing to the continuous improvement of services.The ideal candidate will possess a Social Work degree and be registered with Social Work England. Essential qualifications and skills include:
Proven experience in child protection and family support. Strong assessment and analytical skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
