Wokingham Borough Council is seeking a dedicated and passionate Social Worker to join our Family Safeguarding Team. The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
  • Current registration with Social Work England.
  • Experience in child protection and safeguarding practices.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with families and professionals.
  • Sound knowledge of relevant legislation and frameworks, including the Children Act.
