We are seeking a dedicated and experienced MASH (Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub) Decision Maker Social Worker to join our dynamic team in Northamptonshire. As a MASH Decision Maker Social Worker, your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting thorough assessments of safeguarding concerns and determining the appropriate response. Collaborating with partner agencies, including health, education, and law enforcement, to gather information and make informed decisions. Developing and implementing safeguarding plans that prioritize the welfare of children and vulnerable adults. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation in compliance with statutory requirements. Providing expert advice and support to colleagues and partner agencies regarding safeguarding practices and procedures.To be considered for this position, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registered with Social Work England. Proven experience in child protection and safeguarding, preferably within a MASH or multi-agency context. Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess complex situations and make sound decisions.
