Your key responsibilities will include:

Assessing and approving potential foster carers, ensuring they meet the necessary standards. Providing ongoing support and supervision to foster families, including regular visits and assessments. Developing and implementing individual care plans for children in foster care, ensuring their needs are met. Working collaboratively with multi-agency partners to safeguard and promote the welfare of children. Maintaining accurate records and documentation in compliance with statutory requirements.

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Experience in fostering or child protection settings is highly desirable. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a varied workload effectively.
