We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Qualified Social Worker (QSW) to join our Child Protection and Safeguarding team in Wellingborough, Northampton. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of vulnerable children and families. As a QSW, you will be responsible for assessing needs, developing care plans, and ensuring the safety and well-being of children in your care.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting thorough assessments of children and families to identify risks and support needs. Developing, implementing, and reviewing care plans in collaboration with families and other professionals. Managing a caseload effectively, ensuring timely interventions and follow-ups. Participating in multi-agency meetings and working collaboratively with external agencies to safeguard children. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in accordance with statutory requirements.The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Experience in child protection and safeguarding practices. Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make sound decisions.
