We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Qualified Social Worker to join our Long Term Fieldwork / Child Protection Team in Nottingham City. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality support and intervention to children and families in need.
Key responsibilities and duties include:
Undertaking assessments and developing care plans for children and families Conducting home visits and engaging with service users to ensure their needs are met Participating in case conferences and reviews to monitor progress and make informed decisions Liaising with partner agencies and professionals to coordinate services and support Providing expert advice and guidance to colleagues and stakeholdersThe ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
Qualified Social Worker with HCPC registration Demonstrated experience in long term fieldwork and child protection Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures Excellent communication, assessment, and decision-making skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and challenging environmentIn addition to the above requirements, candidates with experience in court work and permanency planning will be highly regarded.
