We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Qualified Social Worker to join our Long Term Fieldwork / Child Protection Team in Nottingham City. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality support and intervention to children and families in need.

Key responsibilities and duties include:

  • Undertaking assessments and developing care plans for children and families
  • Conducting home visits and engaging with service users to ensure their needs are met
  • Participating in case conferences and reviews to monitor progress and make informed decisions
  • Liaising with partner agencies and professionals to coordinate services and support
  • Providing expert advice and guidance to colleagues and stakeholders

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • Qualified Social Worker with HCPC registration
  • Demonstrated experience in long term fieldwork and child protection
  • Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures
  • Excellent communication, assessment, and decision-making skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and challenging environment
