We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Safeguarding & Reviewing CP Coordinator to join our dynamic team in Bradford. This pivotal role involves overseeing child protection processes, ensuring the safety and well-being of vulnerable children and young people. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to safeguarding practices and possess the ability to work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders, including social workers, families, and external agencies.
Key responsibilities and duties include:
Leading and coordinating child protection conferences and reviews. Monitoring and evaluating safeguarding plans to ensure compliance with statutory requirements. Providing expert advice and support to social work teams regarding safeguarding issues. Developing and implementing training programs for staff on safeguarding policies and practices. Maintaining accurate records and documentation in accordance with legal and regulatory standards.Essential qualifications and skills required for this role include:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA in Social Work, MA in Social Work). Registration with Social Work England. Significant experience in child protection and safeguarding. Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
