Safeguarding & Reviewing CP Coordinator | Bradford
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Safeguarding & Reviewing CP Coordinator to join our dynamic team in Bradford. This pivotal role involves overseeing child protection processes, ensuring the safety and well-being of vulnerable children and young people. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to safeguarding practices and possess the ability to work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders, including social workers, families, and external agencies.
Key responsibilities and duties include:
- Leading and coordinating child protection conferences and reviews.
- Monitoring and evaluating safeguarding plans to ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
- Providing expert advice and support to social work teams regarding safeguarding issues.
- Developing and implementing training programs for staff on safeguarding policies and practices.
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation in accordance with legal and regulatory standards.
Essential qualifications and skills required for this role include:
- A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA in Social Work, MA in Social Work).
- Registration with Social Work England.
- Significant experience in child protection and safeguarding.
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
