Sefton Council is seeking a dedicated and passionate Youth Justice Case Manager to join our Early Help Support & Protection Team. As a Youth Justice Case Manager, your key responsibilities will include:
Developing and implementing tailored intervention plans for young people involved in the youth justice system. Conducting assessments to identify the needs and risks of young people and their families. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, including social workers, educators, and law enforcement, to ensure holistic support. Monitoring and reviewing the progress of young people in accordance with statutory requirements. Providing guidance and support to families to enhance their ability to manage challenges effectively.The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (BA/MA in Social Work or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Experience in youth justice, child protection, or related fields. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with young people and families.
