Sefton - Youth Justice Case Manager - Early Help Support & Protection Team
Sefton Council is seeking a dedicated and passionate Youth Justice Case Manager to join our Early Help Support & Protection Team. This pivotal role focuses on preventing youth offending, supporting vulnerable young people, and working collaboratively with families and external agencies to ensure the best outcomes for our youth. As a Youth Justice Case Manager, you will play a vital role in shaping the lives of young individuals, helping them navigate challenges and fostering positive development.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Assessing the needs of young people and their families to create tailored intervention plans.
- Conducting regular case reviews and maintaining accurate case records in compliance with legal standards.
- Collaborating with schools, social services, and community organizations to provide comprehensive support.
- Engaging with young people through one-on-one and group sessions to encourage positive behavioral change.
- Providing advice and guidance to families to empower them in supporting their children.
To be considered for this role, you must possess a relevant qualification in social work (e.g., a degree in Social Work or equivalent) and hold a valid Social Work England registration. Experience working in youth justice or social work settings is essential, along with a solid understanding of safeguarding policies and procedures.
