We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Social Worker specializing in Safeguarding to join our dynamic team in Walsall. In this role, you will play a vital part in protecting vulnerable children and adults, ensuring their safety and well-being while promoting their rights and welfare. As a Social Worker, you will work collaboratively with families, other professionals, and community organizations to create effective safeguarding plans and interventions.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of individuals and families in need of safeguarding support. Developing and implementing tailored safeguarding plans in collaboration with service users and multidisciplinary teams. Providing ongoing support and guidance to families, ensuring they have access to the necessary resources and services. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records, reports, and documentation in compliance with legal and organizational standards. Participating in regular supervision and team meetings to discuss case progress and share best practices.The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work). Registration with Social Work England. Proven experience in safeguarding practices and working with vulnerable populations. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse individuals and families.
