Join our dedicated Safeguarding Team in Solihull as an Advanced Practitioner, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of vulnerable children and families. In this dynamic position, you will lead assessments, develop care plans, and provide expert guidance to social work staff while collaborating with external agencies to promote the best outcomes for those in our care.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting complex assessments and reviews of safeguarding cases. Providing supervision and support to junior social workers and students. Developing and implementing intervention strategies in line with safeguarding policies. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with statutory requirements. Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to strategic planning.To be considered for this role, you must possess a relevant social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work or equivalent) and be registered with Social Work England. Additionally, you should have significant experience in child protection and safeguarding, alongside a strong understanding of relevant legislation and best practices. Excellent communication, leadership, and decision-making skills are essential, as well as the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
