Join our dynamic Family Front Door Team in Somerset as a Qualified Social Worker (QSW) and make a positive impact on the lives of children and families in our community. We are seeking passionate and dedicated individuals who are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. In this role, you will be at the forefront of our service, responding to referrals and assessments, and working collaboratively with families to ensure their needs are met.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting initial assessments and determining the most appropriate interventions for families in need. Working closely with multi-agency partners to ensure a coordinated approach to safeguarding. Providing support and guidance to families, helping them navigate challenges and access necessary resources. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in accordance with local policies and procedures. Participating in team meetings and contributing to the continuous improvement of service delivery.To be successful in this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Proven experience in child protection and family support work. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
