Join our dedicated Children in Care Team in Staffordshire as a Qualified Social Worker (QSW) / Social Worker Practitioner (SP) and make a meaningful impact on the lives of children and families. We are seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate individual who is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children in care. In this role, you will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the best outcomes for children, supporting their needs and empowering them to thrive.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting assessments and developing care plans for children in care. Building strong relationships with children, families, and external agencies. Managing a caseload effectively while adhering to statutory requirements and guidelines. Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to child protection conferences. Providing guidance and support to foster carers and adoptive families.

To be considered for this position, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Current registration with Social Work England. Experience working within a children’s social care setting, particularly with children in care. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage competing demands.
