Join our dynamic Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) team in Wokingham as a Senior Qualified Social Worker (QSW). In this pivotal role, you will be at the forefront of safeguarding vulnerable children and families, ensuring their well-being and safety. You will work collaboratively with partner agencies to assess needs, manage risks, and implement effective intervention strategies. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact in the community while advancing your career in social work.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Leading assessments and investigations into safeguarding concerns. Providing expert guidance and support to junior social workers and other team members. Developing and implementing care plans in collaboration with families and external agencies. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with statutory requirements. Participating in team meetings, case conferences, and training sessions to promote best practices.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Social Work Degree, DipSW, CQSW). Current registration with Social Work England. A minimum of 3 years of post-qualification experience in children's social work, preferably within a MASH or safeguarding setting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team. Proficient in the use of IT systems and case management software.
